Pinks has been a dream of mine for years. After getting breast cancer at age 42, you start to reflect on choices in your life. My mother passed away in 2010 from her breast cancer. My older sister got it 8 months after I did.
After being in a sales position for 18 years, I wanted to be a small business owner. I love dogs, I was a pet-sitter for a few years. But I was missing something. I have two dogs of my own Roscoe & Oscar and our newest addition Teensie. When I need to go on vacation or just need someone to watch my dogs. It became challenging. Some of the places mix big dogs and small dogs. Or they have them on concrete floors with a big ugly metal fence. I really didn't want to leave my dogs at a Dog Boarding place like this. So that is how the idea for Pinks started. Dog Boarding for your furry friends under 20 pounds. Oscar crossed the rainbow bridge on November 25,2016. I am still sad and cry. Still heart broken. I am grateful for having him in our life. Oscar was the first dog we got together as husband and wife. Roscoe crossed the rainbow bridge on July 1,2019. Congested Heart Failure. I still cry for my boys. I miss them so much.
We added a new fur baby on 2/25/2017. Savannah Rose came to us from Georgia. We just added another fur baby on November 25, 2017. Daphne Moon who is Savannah's half-sister. They have the same dad different mom. We keep adding to our family. We drove to Michigan to get baby Emma June 1, 2019. Chihuahuas are like chips; you just can't have one. We added Hannah Ann our covid dog to our family this summer... All the way from Oklahoma! I have 5 dogs and would not have it any other way.
So now being 17 years cancer free and enjoying what god has blessed me with.
